Pioneering Sustainability: Our Role in Revolutionizing Waste Management

In the quest to safeguard our planet, sustainability has shifted from a mere buzzword to a robust business imperative. At the forefront of this movement, one of Emirati Group Companies, Al Wazan has carved out a niche in transforming waste management within the oil and gas sector in the region.

Strategic Partnerships for Environmental Innovation:

Our strategic partnerships, both locally in the UAE and globally, serve as the backbone of our advanced recycling processes. These collaborations have enabled us to bring sophisticated technologies and practices that revolutionize how waste is treated and repurposed, contributing to a closed-loop ecosystem within the industry.

Making an Impact with Numbers:

We pride ourselves on tangible results: diverting over 21,000 tons of hazardous drilling waste from landfills, treating 2 million+ USG of slops and oil-contaminated water, and utilizing 3.24 million m^3 of waste water for irrigation purposes. Additionally, our initiatives include recycling 16,000 tons of used garnet, 5,000 tons of bio-sludge from water treatment plants for compost, 750 tons of food waste through digesters, and managing over 1,100 tons of other hazardous wastes through various technologies. Furthermore, we've treated 26,000 m^3 of oil-contaminated water on-site using Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Corrugated Plate Interceptor (CPI) systems. These aren't just numbers—they're milestones in our enduring commitment to the environment.
